To access Out of Hours services when we are closed please telephone NHS 111 by dialling 111. You will be answered by the NHS 111 service at a contact centre which will direct to to an appropriate department.
For those with a hearing impairment you can use the NHS 111 service by calling 18001 111.
Our reception area is closed.
If you or any member of your household have had any symptoms of Covid 19 in the past 14 days, or have been advised by NHS Track and Trace to self- isolate for 14 days you must not attend the surgery.
All our GP appointments are initially a telephone appointment, if the GP feels you should be seen they will arrange that.
If you have a pre-booked appointment with a Nurse or Health Care Assistant they will be in touch with you regarding arrangements.
If attending surgery for an appointment please arrive just a minute or two before your allotted time, and wait in your car or outside the building. Ring from a mobile if possible to let us know you are here. Your clinician will then ring you back and tell you to come up as soon as they are free so keep your phone line clear. If you don’t have a mobile contact reception before leaving home for advice.
We are encouraging Patients to wear a face covering whilst at the health centre.
If you need to drop off a prescription request please post in the box at the bottom of the stairs.
If you have anything urgent to collect from reception please call 01229 484141 to arrange.
Any future prescriptions will be issued electronically directly to a pharmacy so please ensure you have told us where you would like yours sending.

Support for people currently self isolating.
Cumbria County Council and partners have launched a new emergency support service for people at high risk of becoming seriously ill, as a result of COVID-19, and who do not have support available from friends, family or neighbours.
The helpline is there to support those at ‘high risk’ and include people over 70 years old, pregnant women and those with underlying health conditions who should be protecting themselves by staying at home. If they do not have support, these people will now be able to call a Freephone number to request help with getting food, medicines, essential supplies and home deliveries.

The telephone ‘call’ centre will operate Monday to Friday 9.00am to 5pm and 10am to 2pm at weekends. The service will also accept referrals from members of the public who may be concerned about people in their community
