If you are on long-term medication and eligible for repeat prescriptions you can order in a variety of ways:

  • In person - drop your repeat slip in the box provided opposite the pharmacy in the entrance to the health centre, having clearly marked the items required.
  • By post - send it to us with a stamped addressed envelope if you want us to post it back to you.
  • Online - follow the link at the top of this page to register for online ordering or call the surgery for more information.
  • Email - email your repeat request along with your name and date of birth to

Pharmacy Collection Service

Each of the pharmacies in Ulverston will collect and make up prescriptions on your behalf saving you another trip to the surgery. Please enquire at reception about how to arrange this.  You should note that you should allow 72 hours for prescriptions delivered to pharmacies to be processed.

Medication Reviews

Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip.

Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.


Please allow Two full working days for prescriptions to be processed if collecting from the Surgery and remember to take weekends and bank holidays into account. Patients using the pharmacy collection service should allow THREE days.
